 FAQs

  • Our beautiful home studio is open by appointment only, allowing brides to try on gowns in a one-on-one, relaxed, personal setting.

  • Alterations are not included as a service at Nua Bridal.

    We do however have a few very skilled seamstress’s that we work very closely with to recommend to you. Any additional charges will be between the seamstress and bride and not affiliated with Nua Bridal.

  • In line with your Consumer Rights, we do not provide refunds or exchanges for change of mind. We also cannot provide refunds in the event that there are changes to your wedding or cancellation.

    All orders are final and returns/refunds/exchanges will not be accepted.

  • Preloved wedding gowns must arrive dry-cleaned, in a garment bag and in good condition

    We recommend providing original purchase receipt.

    Nua Bridal will examine the gown on arrival and may refuse to accept the gown if there are any rips, tears or stains.

    A photo of the wedding gown should be provided (preferably from the wedding day) which Nua Bridal will use to advertise the gown online and social media.

    Brides are required not to wear fake tan for their private appointment and no makeup.

    All wedding gowns are treated with the most care and are viewed by private appointment only.

    If you’re located outside of Cairns– no problem! Contact us directly should you have any questions about this.

    We are always on the lookout for gowns sizes 6-14, so if you’re considering consigning your dress may be snapped up sooner than you think!

    Please note that we only accept wedding gowns less than 5 years old and with an original purchase price of $500 or more.

    Brides who have changed their mind and are left stuck with a brand new dress, we’ll happily take it off your hands.

    We make consigning your gown hassle-free. Once you hand over your dress, we take care of the rest.

  • Pre-loved gowns are sold on a consignment basis. Once a price has been set and when the gown is sold Nua Bridal will transfer the money to the Client by direct deposit.

    Commission rates are set on a case-by-case basis to remain competitive and as low as possible.
